Academic Courses & Training
NHMP Training College Sheikhupura is the principal professional training institute of National Highways & Motorway Police (NHMP), committed to training officers to uphold safety, discipline and professionalism on national highways and motorways. In addition to training NHMP’s own personnel, the College also serves as a capacity-building hub for officers and staff from other law-enforcement and related agencies across Pakistan.
The College’s academic and training programmes are designed to combine theoretical knowledge such as traffic laws, motorway regulations, standard operating procedures (SOPs), first-aid and communications with practical skills like driving, field-patrol readiness, rescue & emergency response, weapons/fire-arms training, physical discipline, and real-world policing contexts.
NHMP Training College thus operates as a center of excellence for road-safety enforcement and broader law-enforcement capacity building: producing NHMP officers, refreshing/promoting existing officers, and offering specialized courses to external agencies ensuring professional standards, inter-agency cooperation, and consistent enforcement strategies across the national motorway/highway network and beyond.
