Professionalism

The NHMP Training College began its structured training programs in 1997 to equip motorway police officers with modern skills in traffic management, accident response, and enforcement. Initial training was conducted at Sihala with support from the National Police Academy and British experts. As training needs grew, camps were established in Islamabad and Chakri before the facility was permanently shifted to Sheikhupura in 2002, officially becoming the NHMP Training Center in 2004. In 2011, the center was upgraded to a full Training College, enabling it to offer advanced, promotional, commando, drill, and capacity-building courses. Over the years, the College has expanded its services to train officers from ICT Police, AJ&K Police, FIA, KPK Police, and Balochistan Police, strengthening inter-agency cooperation. It also provides specialized training for private organizations, playing a vital role in promoting road safety and producing responsible, professional drivers for the country.
